Livewire Telephone Network (LTN)
The LTN is a way to connect directly to Livewire over the internet using a
voip application instead of a normal phone call. This method allows you to
stay connected for as long as you want without having to worry about your
usage. In other words: This method does not use the telephone companies.
Instructions: |
- Download one of the apps below according to your device
|
- Login to the web site so that the system can automatically authorize your IP Address
|
- Within the app create a new sip account
|
- For username enter your mailbox number
|
- For password enter your mailbox password
|
- For domain enter sip.livewire.us
|
- Click Connect, Register or Login depending on your app
|
- You should now be connected to the LTN
|
- Dial the number 1 and hit the Call Button
|
- Enjoy using Livewire without the Telephone Company

- We recommend PortSIP UC for the VOIP app, but youre free to use any that work for you.

Reseting PortSip on MacOS
MacOS does not have a native PortSip client so you have to download the iOS version from the Mac App Store.
If you want to completely reset the client so that you have to login again you can't just uninstall and
reinstall, in fact, that doesn't do anything at all and there is no logout button because the developer is silly.
To completely reset the app:
Force-Close the application
At a Terminal prompt enter the following command and restart the app:
rm -rf ~/Library/*/*com.portsip* ~/Library/Containers/*Data/Library/*/*com.portsip*
